Stocked by Mouser, the Exar XR7910x and XR7920x step-down COT power modules requires very few external components leading to ease of design and fast time-to-market. The modules combine the controller, drivers, inductor, passive components, and MOSFETs in a single package. The XR7910x has load current rating of 3A and a wide 4.5V to 22V input voltage range. The XR7920x has load current rating of 3A and a wide 5V to 40V input voltage range. Both part series feature a proprietary emulated current mode Constant On-Time (COT) control scheme for extremely fast line and load transient response.
Typical applications are for drones and remote vehicles, automotive displays, FPGA/DSP/processor supplies, industrial control and automation, telecommunications and infrastructure equipment, and distributed power architecture.
