High-performance single-stage flyback controller supports AC and DC input

Available from Mouser, Infineon ICL8105 digital flyback controller IC for LED driver is a high-performance configurable single-stage flyback controller that supports AC and DC input with an AC input voltage of 90-305VAC. The device features a power factor correction (PFC) for a constant output current LED driver. The digital core has advanced control algorithms for multi operation modes like quasi resonant mode, discontinuous conduction mode or active burst mode. The controller delivers high efficiency, high power factor and low harmonic distortion through the entire load range. It has an optional active burst mode control scheme to extend dimming range and aligns the line frequency avoiding flicker, shimmer and reducing audible noise.
