Common-mode range differential transceivers for balanced communication

13-06-2016 | Mouser Electronics | Power

Available from Mouser, the Intersil ISL3245xE RS-485/RS-422 transceivers are ±60V fault protected, 3.35V powered, ±20V common-mode range differential transceivers for balanced communication. The extended common-mode range is larger than required for the RS-485. The RS-485 are protected against overvoltages up to ±60V and against ±15kV ESD strikes. These transceivers operate in environments with common-mode voltages up to ±20V. Suitable applications include utility meters/automated meter reading systems, air conditioning systems, security camera networks, building lighting and environmental control systems and ndustrial/process control networks.
