Buck LED drivers provide accurate constant current

Diodes Inc AL1676 high power factor buck LED drivers, stocked by Mouser, are universal AC input (85-277 VAC) devices housed in an SO-7 package. The AL1676 provide accurate constant current with good line and load regulation. The devices operate at boundary conduction mode to ease in EMI/EMC qualification and testing. A single buck stage driver works with a single winding inductor and high voltage MOSFET. This allows for fewer external components to lower bill of material costs. Rich protection features enhance system safety and reliability, including under voltage lock out, LED open/short, over voltage, over current, over temperature protection and thermal fold-back function. The devices are suitable for retrofitting to LED Lamps, LED tubes, high voltage DC-DC LED drivers and general purpose constant current sources.
