Discharge multilayer ceramic capacitors for high temperature environments

KEMET Pulse Discharge Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors, stocked by Mouser, operate in high temperature environments up to 200C. These capacitors deliver reliable short-duration pulse generation in harsh environments typically associated with munitions and down-hole detonation circuitry. They feature a C0G patented base metal electrode dielectric system that is lead-free, RoHS compliant, and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) compliant. The series features discharge voltages of up to 3,500V and capacitances up to 150nF, making these pulse discharge capacitors ideal for firing set circuitry utilising exploding foil initiators or slapper detonators. These capacitors offer higher and more uniform breakdown voltage performance than competitive dielectric solutions for increased reliability in customer field applications.
