Mouser is now stocking the Diodes Inc. AP9101C, a single-chip solution for
1-cell Li+ battery packs. The protection IC was developed for lithium-ion /
lithium polymer rechargeable batteries with a high-precision voltage,
detection circuit.
The AP9101C protects batteries by turning off the external MOSFET switch
when detecting over-charge voltage, over-discharge voltage, over-charge
current, over-discharge current and other abnormalities.
The AP9101C also has a built-in fixed time circuit (external capacitors are
unnecessary); the protection circuitry can be comprised with fewer external
components. The AP9101C is available in standard SOT-25 and SOT- 26
packages.
