New capacitors ideal for EMI suppression in L-N circuits

Ideal for EMI suppression in X1 circuits (L-N), TDK's new X1 Series capacitors are now available from TTI Europe. The B32911 - B32918 series devices cover a broad capacitance range from 1nF to 5.6µF. In addition, they feature a compact design. Their dimensions range from 4mm x 9mm x 13mm to 35mm x 50mm x 57.5mm, depending on the capacitance, with lead spacings of between 10mm and 52.5mm. Types with capacitance values of 4.7µF and 5.6µF are equipped with 4 pins for improved mechanical stability on the PCB. The permissible operating temperature range is from -40C to +110C. Like all EPCOS MKP capacitors, the newcomers also feature high rated voltages and excellent self-healing properties. The series is certified according to ENEC, UL and CSA. Typical applications include power supplies of all kinds and frequency converters, says the company.
