Quad-level light guides available in single- or multiple-column arrays

Mentor's family of horizontal light guides is now available from RS Components. The range offers four rows of light pipes featuring round heads available in 2mm or 3mm diameters which are parallel to the printed board on the front panel. The range of quad-level light guides is available in single-column or multiple-column arrays with up to 40 heads. The light guides use a light diffusing screen to prevent radiation when using a combination of different colours. They are designed for use with surface mount (SMD) LEDs and are fitted to the circuit board using push-fit lugs. The light pipe inject face sits in close proximity to the LED on the board.
