Surface-mount gullwing LEDs suit many indoor /outdoor needs

Mouser now stocks Vishay's VLD Series SMD gullwing and rev gullwing LEDs latest super red, red, amber, and yellow ultra-bright LEDs. The VLD series devices are designed in compact, un-tinted surface-mount packages with dome lenses. They use the latest ultra-bright AllnGaP on Si chip technology and deliver the industry's highest brightness. The VLD provides reliable performance with high luminous flux and incorporates larger chip sizes to withstand drive currents up to 70mA, says the company. Typical applications include traffic signals and signs, interior and exterior lighting, and indicator / backlighting for audio, video, LCDs switches, symbols and illuminated advertising.
