Metallized polyester film capacitors with tinned radial leads

Kemet R82 series metallized polyester film with tinned radial leads are now available from RS Components. The R82 series radial leads are electrically welded to the contact metal layer on the ends of the capacitor winding. The capacitors are encapsulated in a self-extinguishing solvent resistant plastic case with thermosetting resin material. Typical applications include blocking, coupling, decoupling, timing and oscillator circuits. Features include wide voltage range, high operating temperature, RoHS compliance and lead-free terminations, says the company.
