Five new products enhance multi-rate UHD-SDI platform strategy

Semtech has announced the addition of five new products as part of its new multi-rate UHD-SDI platform strategy. In addition to delivering ultra low-power consumption, the newcomers provide industry-leading performance at 3G, 6G and 12G rates. They also offer integrated retiming and advanced diagnostic features, including eye-monitoring and pattern generator/checker functions, enabling signal path optimization for the best possible performance. The new UHD-SDI platform includes: 1 - The GS12141 - a 12G multi-rate UHD-SDI Adaptive Cable Equalizer with integrated retiming, low power, integrated eye monitor and pattern generator/checker 2 - The GS12181 - a 12G multi-rate UHD-SDI Cable Driver with integrated retiming, low power, integrated eye monitor and pattern generator/checker 3 - The GS6151 - a 6G multi-rate UHD-SDI Reclocker with low power, integrated eye monitor and pattern generator/checker in an ultra-compact 4x4 package, ideal for high-density UHD-SDI applications 4 - The GS6152 - a 6G multi-rate UHD-SDI Reclocker with low power, integrated eye monitor and pattern generator/checker 5 - The GS3140 - a 3G multi-rate UHD-SDI adaptive cable equalizer with the industry's lowest power and pin compatibility with the GS6140 6G UHD-SDI adaptive cable equalizer - ideal for 3G UHD-SDI applications demanding ultra-low power Semtech will also be hosting an invitation-only VIP technology suite, which will showcase Semtech's latest UHD-SDI technology developments.
