Kwikset and DoorBird have announced the integration of Kwikset’s Halo smart locks with the DoorBird app. This collaboration brings together two industry innovators to provide a more convenient and secure home access experience.
With this integration, residents can now remotely unlock their Kwikset Halo locks from within the DoorBird app during a live video call with a visitor, all with a simple tap of a button. This seamless experience not only saves time but also adds a new level of control, stopping the necessity to switch between apps or interrupt the conversation. It also enables homeowners to manage access without switching between apps. Best of all, it works natively, with no hub needed, by using your existing home Wi-Fi network.

Residents can easily activate the feature through the app by linking their Halo account.
