Low-noise adjustable LDO voltage regulator with power good and enable

09-06-2023 | Texas Instruments | Power

The Texas Instruments TPS748A-Q1 LDO linear regulator delivers an easy-to-use, robust power management solution for various applications. User-programmable soft-start minimises stress on the input power source by lowering capacitive inrush current on start-up. The soft-start is monotonic and designed for powering many different types of processors and ASICs. The enable input and power-good output provide easy sequencing with external regulators. This complete flexibility allows a solution to be configured that fulfils the sequencing needs of FPGAs, DSPs, and other applications with special start-up needs.

A precision reference and error amplifier delivers 2% accuracy overload, line, temperature, and process. The device is stable with any capacitor greater than or equal to 2.2µF and is fully specified for T J = –40C to +150C. The device is provided in a small, 3mm × 3mm, VSON-10 package, delivering a compact, total solution size.
