Non-penetrating antenna roof mounts eradicate roof damage

KP Performance Antennas has released a new line of non-penetrating antenna roof mounts to satisfy various installation applications.

Building owners are often reluctant to install roof antennas utilising traditional mounts because of the possibility that the mounts may cause roof leaks. The company's new non-penetrating antenna roof mounts stop this possibility, as they need no screws or anchors to be installed.

These new antenna roof mounts are offered with peak mounts for peak-style roofs and base mounts for flat-style roofs. They offer a 1500mm (59") centre mast and are supplied with detailed but easy-to-follow step-by-step installation documentation.

The non-penetrating roof mounts are constructed of powder-coated, galvanised steel to provide reliable performance in extreme weather, including wind speeds of 50km/h (31mph) to 100km/h (62mph). Since building codes vary by location, the company recommends consulting a locally licensed engineer for installation guidelines.

Various kit options are available, including an extra 850mm (33") arm to support more antennas and radios.

"Our new series of non-penetrating roof mounts feature rugged designs and reliable, all-weather performance. Because they do not require any screws or anchors, they minimise damage to the roof and boost confidence in reluctant building owners," said Kevin Hietpas, antenna product line manager.
