Inspection monocular zoom microscope for QA and remote visual inspections

Titan Tool Supply Inc has introduced its Model ZMM-1 industrial inspection monocular zoom microscope. The model is created to provide manufacturers of smaller components and materials with accurate, reliable, real-time quality control and remote visual inspection capabilities over a full production cycle.

Offering a 1:4 zoom ratio, the microscope provides constant focal length, highly favourable depth of field, a large field of view at 15X magnification, and a higher magnification with a smaller field of view at 60X as standard. When employed with the optional 20X eyepiece, it can perform reliable and accurate remote visual inspections of a workpiece over an extended magnification of up to 120X – all with no need for a lens change. The microscope can be operated in the vertical or horizontal position. The unit is supplied mounted onto a desktop pillar stand, with extra optional extended rod lengths.

Typical applications for the device include root cause evaluations of mini-component failures, including pin cracks, casting blow holes, and welding and soldering issues; and sensors and microelectronics components manufacturing, assembly, soldering, welding, and IC fabrication, assembly, testing and quality inspection. They also support cleanroom desktop workstations, semiconductor wafer manufacturing, photonics and optoelectronics component manufacturing, woven cloth manufacturing QA, and wearables R&D.
