ams OSRAM Mira220 1/2.7 2.2MP NIR Enhanced Global Shutter Image Sensors, available now from Mouser, are created for use in 2D and 3D consumer and industrial machine vision applications.

Thanks to state-of-the-art BSI technology, these sensors provide a small 2.79μm pixel size with high sensitivity. The series delivers an effective resolution of 1600 (H) x 1400 (V) and a maximum 12-bit depth, supporting on-chip operations, including external triggering, windowing, and horizontal or vertical mirroring. The maximum frame rate is 90fps at full resolution and bit depth. The Mira220 sensors use the MIPI CSI-2 interface for simple interaction with processors and FPGAs. The on-chip registers can be accessed through the standard I2C interface for easy configuration of the sensors. The sensors feature low power consumption for extended battery operation.

Typical applications include mobile facial authentication, active stereo vision, smart home appliances, QR readers, automatic identification and data capture, AR/VR, structured light vision, drones, smart wearable devices, SLAM for robotics, and more.
