Hinged whip-style 450MHz antennas for IoT and more

Linx Technologies has introduced the ANT-450-HSW, a monopole whip-style antenna suited to cellular and cellular IoT applications in the 410MHz and 450MHz bands, including LTE bands 31, 72, 73, 87, and 88. The latest release is ideal for metering, utility, industrial, and IoT devices.

The hinged design of the ANT-450-HSW allows the antenna to be set up for optimum performance, with detents for straight, 45-degree, or 90-degree positioning. The exterior supplies additional UV protection in harsh weather environments. The antenna connects through an N plug (male pin) or TNC plug (male pin) connector.

“The 450MHz spectrum provides an excellent opportunity for long-range performance for Internet of Things devices, like smart metering applications,” said Rick Stuby, senior manager product management. “Our new ANT450-HW antennas provide robust connectivity solutions for smart devices requiring reliable communication.”
