Littelfuse Px0S3N High Surge Current SIDACtor Protection Thyristors, available now from Mouser, are intended to protect equipment found in hostile environments from overvoltage transients. The thyristors protect exposed interfaces in industrial and ICT applications, including RS-485 data interfaces or AC and DC power supplies.

These thyristors offer a switching voltage far lower than alternative GDT and a much lower on-state voltage than alternative GDTs, MOV, and TVS Diodes.

The thyristors provide a 3000A 8/20μs rating, allowing equipment compliance with regulatory and customer surge requirements.

The devices feature low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, and component properties do not degrade after multiple surge events within its limits. The devices are lead-free E3, the second-level interconnect is lead-free, and the terminal finish material is tin and are halogen-free and RoHS compliant.
