Bourns SRN2012T Semi-Shielded Power Inductors, available now from Mouser, are built with a magnetic-epoxy coating to the perimeter of the inductor winding. This design gives enhanced shielding, releasing a lower magnetic field radiation level than non-shielded inductors.

These inductors feature a ferrite core, Sn terminal finish, enamelled copper wire, and magnetic epoxy resin coating. They are RoHS compliant and halogen free. Other features comprise high inductance, low DCR, high self-resonant frequency, and high Q. These inductors are provided in a small 2mm x 1.2mm x 1.2mm package with an operating temperature range of -40C to +125C.

Ideal applications for these devices include RF signal processing, resonant circuits, decoupling and noise filters for audio headsets, cable modems, set-top boxes, hard disk drives, tablets, and mobile electronic devices.
