Mouser has announced a global distribution agreement with LightWare LiDAR LLC. The agreement enables the company to offer LightWare’s range of microLiDAR sensors for use on unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and robotics and IoT applications.

The LightWare SF30 microLiDAR sensors are created for long-distance, high-speed lidar applications and can take up to 20,000 readings per second. The sensors provide a 5.5V maximum voltage rating, with the SF30/B measuring up to 50m, the SF30/C up to 100m, and the SF30/D up to 200m. This suite of lasers can measure from moving ground and aerial vehicles, using the lidar ToF principle to get fast and accurate measurements of distance and speed.

The ultra-small SF000/B microLiDAR can take up to 388 readings per second and measure up to 50m. Weighing just 8g, this sensor is perfect for lidar applications where space and weight are constrained. The device rangefinder provides multiple hardware interfaces to connect with various controllers, including the PX4 and Ardupilot. The device is capable in all weather conditions, even in direct sunlight. Lidar is effective at night as it is its own light source.

The LW20 sensor also employs the lidar ToF principle to precisely measure distances to objects; it is effective in all weather conditions and direct sunlight and offers an IP67-rated housing enclosure. The sensor is resistant to dust and water and is intended to measure both height and distance.

The SF11/C microLiDAR sensor is created for usage with fixed-wing and motor aircraft, making it a fitting selection for precision hovering, terrain following, and automated landings. The device provides a range of 0.2m to 120m for measuring targets and can take up to 20 readings per second.
