Amphenol Piher MSC-360 Hall-Effect Rotary Position Sensors, available now from Mouser, are lightweight and miniature (only 21mm in size) while providing high performance with up to 360-degree electrical angle (without dead zone) and 12-bit resolution.

The sensors also provide seven million cycles of rotational life as well as EMI and ESD protection. The device operates over a -40C to +125C temperature range and offers IP67 sealing, making the series versatile and cost-effective for applications in tough environments.

Typical applications include non-contacting, long-life angle/position sensors, absolute rotary position sensors, pedal position sensors, throttle/exhaust gas recirculation valve and gear position sensors, height and suspension sensors, non-contacting potentiometers, float-level sensors, joysticks and hand controls, automatic guided vehicles steering sensors, robotics, material handling, industrial equipment, and HVAC monitoring and control.
