IXYS CPC1561B Solid State Relays, available now from Mouser, are single-pole, normally open (1-Form-A) optically isolated solid-state relays with integrated current limit and thermal shutdown features. The current limit remains flat across the operating temperature range.

The relays are ideal for substituting electromechanical relays while improving the robustness of applications. The device can switch 1ADC or 1Arms loads up to +60C. The device includes thermal shutdown circuitry for enhanced survivability in tough environments and is developed to pass regulatory voltage surge necessities when equipped with appropriate over-voltage protection circuitry. The device is intended specifically for environmentally demanding AC or DC applications.

Typical applications include 16V to 24V AC systems, security systems, residential and building controls, gaming, instrumentation, and battery-powered systems.
