Signal Transformer, a Bel group company offers its new Wireless Charging Transmission Coils (WCC) in both single and multiple windings for smart car applications, wearable devices, consumer products, controllers, robotic cleaners and drones.

The coils feature pin cooling technology and tight pin tolerance control within +/-1mm after the tin immersion process. They are offered in two core shapes, square/rectangular (Q) or circular (C), and feature Qi-standard compliance and customisable size and shape characteristics, with a low profile and high mechanical intensity. Inductance tolerance is ±5% for (J) and ±10% for (K) with inductance of 6R3 for 6.3uH, and an operating temperature of -20C to 85C for general applications and -40C to 125C for automotive. The WCCs comply with all environmental demands, including RoHS, REACH, Prop 65 and Conflict Minerals.

The series uses inductive coupling to transfer data, signals and power from one source to another. The most common of its many applications are base chargers, cell phones, toothbrushes, tablets, remotes and similar devices. The devices use of inductive coupling removes conductive connections and common wiring, seamlessly transferring data and power while evading the mechanical abrasion, corrosion and wearing-out of conductive contacts. The fixed-in position inductive coils are non-moving, making them resistant to vibration and corrosion and are created for reliability and longevity.
