These robust connectors can join directly to the connector shell, which enhances grounding, defeats contact solder joint stress, and excludes extra hardware. The receptacles feature 500 mating cycles and an operating temperature range of -65C to +200C. These components provide convenience, performance, and reliability, making them ideal for defence aviation, commercial aerospace, ground transports, and communications systems.

The devices are designed according to Mil-Spec 38999. They are created for use with standard length PCB contacts and are designed to be compatible with MIL-DTL 38999 Series III plugs.
