Low profile PSU for medical and ITE applications

FiDUS has released what is claimed to be the lowest profile 180W power supply of its class, measuring only 0.75" high, 25% lower than its nearest rival.

Offered in standard UL/IEC/EN 60950-1 safety-approved and medically-approved versions to ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and IEC/EN 60601-1 3rd Edition, the 180W PSUs have an 80-264VAC input, convection rating of 120W (180W fan-cooled), operating temperature of -40C to 70C, 12V fan output and up to 92% efficiency as standard. Output models are offered from 12VDC to 58VDC.

The 180W PSUs are supplied with Molex or optional screw terminal connectivity, AC fail/power good signal, Class II versions and cover kit assemblies. EMC is of a high standard for ease of design in for engineers, with the medial version meeting IEC 60601-1-2 4th Edition immunity.
