Phoenix Contact EMpro II Energy Meters offer user-friendly functions that measure and transmit key energy parameters to cloud-based services, allowing the remote monitoring of machines, equipment, and facilities. A three-step wizard automatically operates upon the first power-up, with the option to import and export configuration files between meters. Monitoring abilities within the integrated webserver provide easy-to-read data in real-time. Integrated logging and alarm capabilities can also be set up and employed via the webserver.

Energy meters are offered in a panel-mount or DIN rail-mounted package with or without a display. These units can be incorporated into a broad range of power systems supporting single, two, and three-phase installations of multiple configurations.

The meters are supplied with one 24VDC digital input and one 24VDC digital output. The input and output points can be configured for a multitude of functions. The interface comprises industrial protocols such as EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, and Modbus RTU.

The typical uses are measuring and transmitting key energy parameters to cloud-based services; and enabling the remote monitoring of equipment, machines, and facilities.
