Diodes offer excellent current handling capability

AVX Schottky rectifier diodes provide unique lead-less chip packaging technology which removes the lead frame wire bond to provide the chip top-bottom symmetry for fewer problems with mounting, better heat transfer, and current handling capability (in comparison to SOD devices).

The company's SMxJ Series Transient Voltage Suppression Diodes are created in a common format of general-purpose transient voltage suppression diodes. They are based on low leakage, high-reliability glass passivated chip rectifier technology. These TVS diodes are industry-standard components with three peak power ratings of 400W, 600W, and 1500W. They provide flat clamping characteristics, unidirectional or bidirectional polarity, and very fast response times.
