Low IQ boost/SEPIC/inverting converters offer a unique single feedback pin architecture

Analog Devices LT8365 Low IQ Boost/SEPIC/Inverting Converters provides a 1.5A, 150V switch running from a 2.8V to 60V input. The converters offer a unique single feedback pin architecture able to boost, SEPIC or inverting configurations. Burst Mode operation uses as low as 9µA quiescent current to sustain high efficiency at very low output currents while maintaining typical output ripple below 15mV.

An external compensation pin allows optimisation of loop bandwidth over a broad range of input and output voltages and programmable switching frequencies between 100kHz and 500kHz. A SYNC/MODE pin enables synchronisation to an external clock. The device can also be employed to select between burst or pulse-skipping modes of operation with or with-out spread spectrum frequency modulation for low EMI. For increased efficiency, a BIAS pin can receive a second input to supply the INTVCC regulator. Further features comprise frequency foldback and programmable soft-start to control inductor current during startup.

The device is available in a thermally enhanced 16-lead MSOP package with four pins removed for high voltage pin spacings.

Typical applications include industrial and automotive, telecom, medical diagnostic equipment, and portable electronics.
