Texas Instruments DRV8908-Q1EVM Driver Evaluation Module is an application board design to enable easy evaluation of the DRV8908-Q1. The device is an integrated 4.5V to 32V eight-channel H-bridges for automotive applications such as control of HVAC flap DC motor. A standard 16-bit SPI offers an easy method for configuring the various device settings and reading fault diagnostic information through an external controller.

The EVM has a 4.5V to 32V operating voltage range, and 1A DC maximum current for each channel/total 3A DC maximum current. The device drives the BDC motors in independent, sequential, or parallel mode.

The BDC and stepper motor is wholly controllable with forward, reverse, coasting and braking mode support. The 16-bit SPI provides a simple method for configuring the various device settings and reading fault diagnostic information.

The kit contents include DRV8908-Q1EVM evaluation module and Micro-USB cable.
