Common mode toroidal chokes offer excellent EMI suppression

17-03-2020 | Signal Transformer | Passives

Signal Transformer announced their new HCTC Series of Common Mode Toroidal Chokes for manufacturers and design engineers who specify power supplies containing common mode noise reduction and line filtering.

The series offers a solid carrier base for stable vertical PCB mounting and fixed-pin spacing for simple PCB insertion, high current capacity and superior EMI suppression, which gives flexibility in the selection process with multiple options to select from.

A broad variety of inductance and current ratings gives an optimal board layout, enabling cooler running EMI/RFI filtering to be included into multiple applications, comprising power supplies, LCD panels, computers and monitors, DC-DC converters and electric vehicle charging. Usage of the largest possible conductor size for decreased heat rise and selection of low loss core material assures high efficiency in a small package while preserving competitive cost for industrial, electronic, telecommunications, power and EV industries.
