Ferrite tiles provide high charging efficiency

Kemet FPL WPT Ferrite Tiles are created with proprietary ferrite material technology to provide high charging efficiency. These tiles are available now from Mouser.


Ferrite material is employed in tiles, plates, or pads in wireless power-charging systems to improve system efficiency, by shielding and reflecting the magnetic field within the inductive transfer area.


The tiles improve efficiency in high-power WPT systems from 3.7kW to 11kW in a high-operating frequency range up to 1MHz. The tiles work in a temperature range of -40C to +125C and are offered in multiple geometric sizes. The AEC-Q200 qualified tiles also provide low-temperature rise with high-magnetic flux density.


The ferrite tiles are ideal for automotive wireless power transfer and industrial wireless power transfer applications.
