Texas Instruments TPS546D24 SWIFT Buck Converter is a highly integrated, non-isolated DC/DC converter capable of high-frequency operation and 40A current output from a 7mm x 5mm package. Two, three, and four of the devices can be interconnected to offer up to 160A on a single output. The device provides an option to overdrive the internal 5V LDO with an external 5V supply via the VDD5 pin to enhance efficiency and lessen power dissipation of the converter. The device utilises a proprietary fixed-frequency current-mode control with input feed-forward with selectable internal compensation components for minimal size and stability across a broad range of output capacitances.

Typical applications include data centre switches, rack servers; active antenna systems, remote radio and baseband units; automated test equipment, CT, PET, and MRI; ASIC, SoC, FPGA, DSP Core, and I/O voltage.
