Adafruit 3211 RGB Matrix Bonnet, available now from Mouser, plugs into a Rasp Pi and makes it simple to control RGB matrices and create a colourful scrolling display.
The 'Bonnet' board works on any Raspberry Pi with a 40-pin GPIO header (Zero, Zero W/WH, Model A+, B+, Pi 2, and Pi 3). This bonnet will make matrix projects super easy and bypasses wiring complexity. Features comprise a simple design, onboard level shifters, power protection circuitry, and fully compact design. The bonnet is used only with HUB75 type RGB matrices.
Features
The device features onboard level shifters to convert the RasPi's 3.3V to 5V. The fully assembled compact design requires no soldering. The product dimensions are 66.2mm x 30.7mm x 17.2mm and weighs 13.9g.
