Cloud-based professional thermal cameras for pre-fire detection

03-04-2018 | Saelig | Test & Measurement

Saelig Company has introduced the Fotric 123 Infrared Thermal Camera, claimed to be the world's first cloud-based smart infrared camera designed for visual early fire detection that offers real-time data transmission. The camera can be permanently situated outdoors or indoors to identify abnormal changes in heat conditions and send early fire alert warnings via an internet connection before a fire or other problem beginning. Fire hazards can be identified in their early stages. The device intelligently detects unusual object heating, well before a fire ignites and triggers fire alarm messages with a sensitivity of 0.1C. Users can inspect the thermal video remotely in real-time on any smartphone operating the Fotric app. When an unusual temperature state occurs, a short thermal video is uploaded to the cloud server, and the fire hazard alert is immediately conveyed to preprogrammed smartphones for user monitoring. Each camera can be shared with various users for simultaneous monitoring.
