Synchronous buck converter with ultra-low EMI for rugged industrial applications

The Texas Instruments LMR33620 SIMPLE SWITCHER regulator is a simple-to-use, synchronous, step-down DC-DC converter that produces best-in-class efficiency for rugged industrial applications. The device can drive up to 2A of load current from an input of up to 36V. The device offers high light load efficiency and output accuracy in a very small solution size. The device provides options such as a power-good flag and precision which enable provide both flexible and simple-to-use solutions for a wide range of applications. The device automatically folds back frequency at light load to improve efficiency. Integration removes most external components and offers a pinout designed for simple PCB layout. Protection features include thermal shutdown, cycle-by-cycle current limit, input undervoltage lockout, and hiccup short-circuit protection.
