Reduced flange connector for harsh environments where small dimension and low weight are critical

Amphenol Socapex introduces the new 38999 reduced flange connector for reduced space applications. They are available now from TTI Europe. Smaller and lighter than a MIL-DTL-38999 III connector, with identical performance. Designed for reduced spaces in defence and aviation applications, the receptacle combines space and weight saving with the performance of a MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connector. It's innovative design reduces the footprint surface by 41%. It is also 20% lighter than a standard MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connector. In order to adapt to all types of harsh environmental conditions, the receptacle is supplied in many different versions made with various material and surface treatments such as cadmium, black zinc nickel, nickel etc. The connector is available in three versions: crimping, PCB mounting and stand-off to suit to all application types.
