Capable of reporting humidity, temperature and barometric pressure through a Bluetooth 4.0 smart link, TE Connectivity's Measurement Specialties Bluetooth sensor development board is now available from Mouser stock.
The board is based on MEAS low-power digital component sensors HTU21D(F) for RH/T and MEAS ultra-compact micro altimeter MS5637.
Two versions are available for either Android or Windows PC applications. The Android version has a free application available that turns a smartphone or tablet into a display and datalog terminal. The PC version connects through a USB dongle to a Windows based computer with provided software. The board has an expected lifetime of 3 months on a standard CR2032 cell battery at the fastest acquisition rate of one point per second.
?The Bluetooth Sensor Board can sense humidity ranging from 0-100%RH, temperature from -20C + 85C and pressure from 300 to 1200mBar.
