Vertical and in-line screwless wire connectors speed assembly

Now stocked by Farnell element14, TE Connectivity's vertical screwless wire connectors are offered with 2, 4 or 6 staggered positions. The in-line connectors are available with 2 or 3 positions. Eliminating the need to solder wires directly to PCBs, they are compatible with the PCB wave solder processes, with the connector allowing for insertion of stripped solid conductor wire without special tools. The range is designed for permanent connections within OEM assemblies. Wires are securely held in place but can be removed with an extraction tool if necessary, says the company.
