Now stocked by RS Components, the Texas Instruments (TI) MSP-EXP430F5529LP LaunchPad is an inexpensive evaluation module for the company's MSP430F5529 USB microcontroller. The module offers an easy way to start developing on the MSP430 with an on-board emulation for programming and debugging which includes buttons and LEDs for simple user interface. The 40-pin BoosterPack expansion headers and the wide range of available BoosterPack plug-in modules help rapid prototyping. Further features include wireless, displays, sensors and much more, says the company.
