The processor is a scalable device based on the evolutionary Jacinto 7 architecture for smart vision processing applications like machine vision cameras and computers, video doorbells and surveillance, traffic monitoring, autonomous mobile robotics, industrial transport and more.

The device features SoC architecture with extensive integration, supplying high-performance computing technology for traditional and deep learning vision applications. With industry-leading power, featuring dual 64-bit Arm Cortex-A72 microprocessors and GPU processors running up to 2MHz with high-level system integration, the device allows scalability for advanced vision applications with next-generation DSP featuring multi-scalar and vector cores, dedicated deep learning accelerators delivering one to 32 TOPS for AI processing, and robust vision processing performance.

The device provides an integrated next-generation imaging subsystem with video codec support for multiple streams (H.264, H.265, RAW, 4K UHD) and an isolated microcontroller island powered by dual-core Arm Cortex-R5F MCUs up to 1GHz, with secure multi-display outputs, protected by industrial-grade safety and security hardware accelerators. Open-source evaluation and model development tools fully support the device to help designers develop and scale edge AI designs across multiple systems.
