New series of attenuators provide 2.92mm connectors

Fairview Microwave has extended its line of 40GHz fixed RF attenuators with 2.92mm connectors supplying attenuation levels of 0 to 10, 12, 15, 20 and 30dB.

The company's 40GHz attenuator pads are created to lower the amplitudes of RF signals in an extensive variety of applications, including R&D, lab use, wireless networks and more.

These attenuators with low VSWR seen by adjacent RF components allow impedance-matching circuits and protect measurement equipment and other circuitry by lowering RF power. They also provide power ratings of 2W up to 40GHz, protect amplifiers, detectors and receivers from signal overload, and adjust RF signal levels to an optimal range.

“We’ve expanded our line of 40GHz RF fixed attenuators to offer our customers even more attenuator options to address today’s high-frequency applications,” said Steven Pong, senior product manager.
