IoT starter kits for product evaluation and long-range Bluetooth 5 applications

Laird Connectivity Sentrius IG60-BL654 + BT610 I/O Sensor IoT Starter Kits, available now from Mouser, are intended for supporting product evaluation and prototyping long-range Bluetooth 5 IoT applications. The kit comprises a Sentrius IG60-BL654 Wireless IoT Gateway with global power supplies (the 455-00126 starter kit adds LTE Cat 1 connectivity), three Sentrius BT610 I/O Sensors, three thermistor cable assemblies (to get users started), mobile apps for configuration and Laird Connectivity’s free AWS-based IoT monitoring evaluation platform.

Users can gather data from the BT610 sensors, collect the information with the IG60-BL654 gateway, and send it to the cloud via AWS IoT Greengrass.

Typical applications include smart metering, remote sensing, automation monitoring and control, HVAC monitoring and control, agricultural and rural IoT, and M2M.
