SMPS patented design combines a mains filter and isolated power supply in same case

The RECOM RAC05-K/C14 is a unique patented design that consolidates a mains filter and isolated power supply in the same case as a mains input filter, at a cost lower than many mains filters. The device is available now from RS Components. The device fits into a standard IEC 'kettle connector' mounting hole, so installation time takes only a few seconds. The touchable output spade terminals are SELV available in 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V and 24V DC outputs voltages and are shielded against short circuits, overload and overvoltage. The metal case provides secure fixing and enhances thermal dissipation enabling an operating temperature from -25C to +70C.

The device is excellent for powering single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi (including the touchscreen), Arduino, and BBC Micro:bit, and more.
