Ultra-low noise amplifiers ideal for test and measurement, EW, ECM and radar applications

MACOM MAAL-011151 2-18GHz Ultra Low Noise Amplifiers are available now from Mouser. These easy to use devices are supplied in a lead-free 5mm 32-lead PQFN package. The amplifiers offer an operating range from 2GHz to 18GHz and give 15dB of linear gain, 19dBm of P1dB, and 3.5dB of noise figure at 10GHz. The device provides a fully matched input and output to 50Ohm with a typical return loss of >10dB.

Furthermore, the device features DC blocked RF input and output ports, with amplifier control by the use of a control circuit. The device is fabricated utilising a low phase noise HBT process which highlights full passivation for enhanced reliability. The amplifier can be employed as a low noise amplifier stage for signal generation applications.
