The TLV6001-Q1 single operational amplifier, from Texas Instruments, is for general-purpose automotive applications. This device has a broad voltage range, from rail to rail, on input and output and a low quiescent current of 75µA, typical. Other advantages are a broad bandwidth of 1 MHz and low noise of 28nV/vHz at 1kHz. This device allows you to balance cost and performance in different automotive applications when it is necessary. These applications include inverters for infotainment, electric automobiles, passive safety, and body electronics. Also, applications with sources that have impedances of megaohms can use the device, due to the low input bias current of 1pA, typical. The device is simple to use and is stable at unity gain with capacitive loads of 150pF, maximum. The device has a built-in filter that rejects RF and EMI, and shows no phase reversal in overdrive conditions. The device also has high electrostatic discharge protection of 4kV HBM. The device operates at voltages from 1.8V (±0.9V) to 5.5V (±2.75V). The device is specified for the extended temperature range of –40C to 125C.
