Global distribution agreement to supply IIoT solutions to connect and protect assets

Mouser has signed a global distribution agreement with Sierra Monitor Corporation to provide IIoT solutions that connect and protect high-value infrastructure assets. Sierra Monitor’s FieldServer line of protocol gateways supports over 140 varieties of industrial automation protocols with over 200,000 units installed. The product line comprises the BACnet Explorer Next Generation and BACnet Router, specially designed to combine with devices and networks that use the BACnet automation protocol. All of the company's routers include access to SMC Cloud, and their device management platform for the IIoT. The SMC Cloud offers secure remote access to the web applications that are available locally on the router. When accessed remotely, these applications enable systems integrators the functionality to log, diagnose, configure, monitor, and update systems remotely and minimise on-site visits.
