Ceramic-based high-power LEDs with silicone lenses

Designed to provide a reliable energy saving replacement for mercury lamps in medical, industrial, and printing applications, Vishay's VLMU3500 UV Series ceramic-based, high-power LEDs with silicone lenses are now stocked by Mouser. The silicone lenses enable lifetimes of 50,000 hours. The VLMU3500 LEDs are free of heavy metals and provide increased reliability with their shock resistance and immunity to degradation from frequent on/off switching. They come in a 3.5mm x 3.5mm package and deliver a radiant power of up to 1235mW at 700mA in a wavelength range of 380nm to 390nm.
