Versatile RGB LED family comes in a variety of different packages

Kingbright's surface-mount LED RGB chip LEDs are now available from RS Components. This family consists of 3-chip devices offering RGB (red, green, blue) LEDs with a water-clear lens with a viewing angle of 120 degrees. They come in a variety of different packages with a range of different footprint dimensions. Their RGB chips together create a full-colour LED, which is able to produce any colour within the visual spectrum, including white light, says the company.
