Full-size brick suitable for automation and instrumentation applications

A new industrial AC/DC power supply arrives in a full-size brick from Cincon. The PDF700S is the latest from the manufacturer and is available now from Components Bureau .

The new AC/DC power supply offers high efficiency up to 91.5% and has a wide operating temperature range of -40C to +100C making it suitable for harsh environments. It provides baseplate cooling enabling it to function at full load.

The device provides an output voltage adjustment through its trim pin and the output remote sensing function, which automatically adjusts the actual output voltage of the series to compensate for voltage drops through distribution and maintain a regulated voltage at the point of load.

It has an input range of 90~264VAC and the PFC, comes in five different outputs of 12, 24, 28, 48 and 56VDC and provides the complete range of protections, including OTP.

The total brick measures 116.8mm x 61mm x 12.7mm and has safety approvals for IEC/UL/EN 62368-1, EMC compliance to meet EN55032 Level A for conducted and radiated emissions as well as offer immunity to meet EN55035.

The device is ideal for industrial, instrumentation, automation, measurement and network applications.
