Digi-Key – Compact 22mm panel alarm suits wide range of demanding applications (Mallory - ZA Series Panel Alarm)

With industrial panels getting smaller over recent years, control panels and other controls housed in NEMA-type boxes have migrated to smaller pre-installed holes including 22mm holes. Mallory has responded by expanding its line of Sonalert panel alarms with a new, smaller 22mm cut-out series - now available from Digi-Key.

The new ZA series combines high quality sound with dB levels 10-15 decibels louder than other product of the same size. The product features programmable micro-controller technology, used to control the sound generated by the alarm. This allows the product to get louder over time, speed up, slow down, automatically turn off after a set period, and produce multiple and unique warning sounds in the same package. The product also features UL/CSA approval, is waterproof (NEMA 3R/4X/12; IP-66) and tamper proof.

Typical applications include power plants, industrial process automation, packaging plants, food processing plants, environmental controls, security management, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical / petrochemical processing, heat treating and sintering furnaces.
